Purpose found
With technology becoming more available it only makes sense that we incorporate it into our teaching strategies as well. The syllabus being so broad and the time being so short makes it almost impossible to cover everything in detail. Your idea for your blog is an excellent one to continue the discovery and learning long after 1:30. I hope you really implement it .

I can see your students engaging in the blog acitivities. I know they will participate because they encourage to own their learning and this will be a great idea to gather vast amount of information that leads to increasing experience. Use for the class it's a wonderful and creative blog.
